ALL IDENTITY WORK IS AN ACT OF REBELLION.

Every meaningful transformation begins with a refusal.

A woman deciding she is no longer available for the version of herself that’s been settling, shrinking, or accepting less than she actually wants. I built my work on one radical belief: changing your home is never really about the stuff. It is about self-concept, identity, and having the audacity to ask, “Wait… can I actually have this?” (Spoiler: yes, you can.) Because letting go is never just decluttering. It is an identity decision.

And this is where you get dangerous in the best way.

Because true transformation doesn’t come from playing it safe. It comes from questioning everything you were taught to tolerate, shedding what no longer fits, and refusing to build your life around outdated stories about what is reasonable, or deserved. It’s choosing a version of your life that feels bigger, richer, and entirely on your own terms.

This is not self-help, it’s defiance… And frankly, it’s where things get interesting.

In a world that teaches women to lower the bar, make themselves smaller, and call it realism, choosing to want more is one of the bravest things you can do.

Amy’s work exists to back that decision with substance, so the life you’re building has the identity, structure, and environment designed to hold everything you say you want.

Less stuff, more self.

I’m not here to help you become more acceptable, more palatable, or easier for everyone else to digest… If fitting neatly into other people’s expectations is the goal, this is probably not your vibe.

I’m here to help you build the kind of iconic life that disrupts old patterns, rewrites what you thought was possible, and redefines what it means to truly live your dreams. When your identity shifts first, everything else begins to catch up: your home, habits, standards and results. It has to. This is not self-improvement. This is a full identity upgrade.

This is how real transformation happens. One brave decision. One full-stop boundary. One bold move that proves your life is no longer built around your ‘old self’ who was never meant to lead your future.

The only thing left to decide is, how much longer are you willing to wait?

Amy Elizabeth Prior — professional organiser turned identity reinvention architect

I’m Amy Elizabeth Prior. Founder. Professional Organiser, Decluttering Expert, Mindset Coach & Identity Architect.

If you’d met me ten years ago, you wouldn’t recognise me. From the outside, I looked fine: job, house, doing what you’re supposed to do.

Inside, I was falling apart. Clinical depression. Anxiety. Eventually a breakdown at work that landed me back in my mum’s spare room. An ADHD diagnosis arrived later and made sense of so much: the restlessness, the intensity, the certainty I was built for something else, even when I couldn’t name it.

The turning point came from a Law of Attraction book, then from redundancy, then from picking up The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up and having one of those moments: people actually do this as a job?

I’d always been obsessed with order, systems, and homes, things I could control. So I did what every ADHD entrepreneur does, had the idea, terrified myself with it, and built The Space Creator anyway.

But somewhere between the beautifully organised cupboards and the satisfied clients, I realised the clutter was never the problem. It was the symptom. What women were truly battling was overwhelm, outdated identities, and lives built around habits that no longer matched who they were trying to become. I saw it in my clients. Then I saw it in myself.

The business evolved. The Space Creator became Break Up With Your Stuff, the education and transformation arm.

Alongside Refined House Co. for elevated in-person home transformation, and Pro Organiser Academy, mentoring and training professional organisers to build and scale their own businesses.

I’m not here to help women get organised. I’m here to help them become unavailable for the life that no longer fits.

I’m not here to help women get organised. I’m here to help them become unavailable for the life that no longer fits.

What they don’t put in the highlight reel is this: I didn’t start one thing and scale it sensibly. My fast ADHD brain means I started everything, simultaneously. Multiple brands, multiple directions, multiple offers, all firing at once because that’s what happens when an unmanaged neurodivergent brain meets a marketplace full of possibilities. I’ve made expensive mistakes, chased shiny objects, spent years doing too much of the wrong things instead of the right, boring things. Not because I wasn’t capable. Because I hadn’t yet done the identity work to back the strategy.

I’m telling you this not as a disclaimer, but as the reason I know exactly what works and what doesn’t. I’ve been the expensive experiment. My clients get to skip it.

The shift happened when I stopped treating everything as a strategy problem and started treating it as an identity problem. I invested in a coach, which at the time terrified me. I didn’t comfortably have the money, and every limiting belief I’d ever had about what I deserved came flooding up at once. I chose to trust myself anyway, not because I wasn’t scared, but because the pain of staying exactly where I was scared me more. My income grew. I crossed six figures in the most turbulent year of my life. I found the courage to leave a relationship I’d been unhappy in for a long time. My standards rose across every area of life, not because anyone told me they should, but because my identity had changed.

A while before, a friend mentioned a private members club. Estelle Manor. The kind of place I’d only ever seen online. My brain filed it away under: not for people like me. Not a conscious decision, just a belief so deep I never questioned it. Seven months later I went there for a meeting and drove through the gates feeling completely out of place. When I got home I put it on my vision board. Eight months later I applied and got accepted as a member! Now I train there, work there, and the staff know my name. The same gates that once made me feel like an outsider now feel completely normal.

Nothing about the place changed. I did. That’s what identity work actually is.

I’ve built all of this, every brand, every course, every coaching programme, as a single mother with a toddler, with a fast chaotic brain and no safety net. Not because life became easy. Because I finally stopped assuming it had to stay hard.

If you’re ready to stop waiting for the version of your life that fits, I’m ready to help you build it.

A LOOK INSIDE MY LIFE

A LOOK INSIDE MY LIFE

answers

Still here? Fab, if we’re going to work together, you should probably know how I think!

What’s your idea of perfect happiness?

Pottering around the garden on a sunny afternoon, picking sweet peas and harvesting homegrown tomatoes with my sassy three-year-old inspecting bugs. A slow morning, good coffee, no notifications, and a completely quiet mind.

The bougier dream: lying on a yacht in Ibiza with no to-do list, an itinerary full of sensational experiences, and no one asking me to “just quickly” do anything… (or being “stickered” by the tiny boss.)

What’s your defining characteristic?

Intuition. I’m exceptionally good at spotting patterns and reading people. It’s why I can often see what’s really going on long before it becomes obvious.

What’s your greatest extravagance?

Outsourcing anything that drains my time and energy. At this point “Hot Off The Press” Ironing is my new bestie. More money can be made, we can never get time back. Time is our most valuable asset.

What’s something society praises that you think we should question?

False modesty. And mistaking people-pleasing for kindness. You’re allowed to own how good you are at what you do.

And if being “nice” means abandoning your standards, boundaries or values, it isn’t kindness. It’s people-pleasing.

The most magnetic women aren’t agreeable just to keep the peace. They’re warm, honest and compassionate, but they also know when to say no.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I’d switch off my brain occasionally. It doesn’t do “off”… Not feeling a visceral pain when I stop myself acting on every single one of the 555 ideas I’ve had before breakfast.

What do you consider your greatest achievement(s)?

Having my daughter at home in a birth pool, no gas and air for the sharp (they ran out). IKR. And rebuilding my life from the inside out after separation, with a toddler in tow. Helping other women do the same faster, naturally.

What do you most value in your friends?

Emotional intelligence, wit, unhinged voice notes, questionable behaviour and being unapologetically themselves. The ability to have real conversations without dancing around the truth.

What’s your human design?

Projector. Which explains a lot…

What’s your relationship with manifestation?

It’s not wishful thinking. It’s science. It’s law. It’s identity. Decide who you are, assume it’s done, take action and everything else has to catch up. You don’t start floating out of bed one day because you decided not to believe in gravity… Start believing or stay stuck.

How do you take your coffee?

Flat white, fresh espresso or an espresso Martini if I’m living on the edge. After green salad and protein ideally… But realistically? On an empty stomach, in bed, negotiating with my highest self. (We’re not perfect all the time).

What do you have zero tolerance for?

Complaining about the same problem while refusing to change it.

“You’re so lucky.”

Low standards disguised as “being realistic.”

Darling, expect more from life. We’re absolutely not available for holey knickers.

What’s something most people won’t say, but you will?

You don’t need more time, money, space, or storage. You need to make better choices, then watch your life expand.

What’s a belief you’ll defend all day long?

You can become someone your past self wouldn’t recognise.

Your identity isn’t fixed. Decide to change who you believe you are, and your actions, standards and life begin to change too.

Most women underestimate how much their life can change in a year.

My Method

It starts by listening for what’s really going on. The patterns beneath the clutter. The identity beneath the habits. The beliefs beneath the behaviour. Then we bring strategy, self-concept and your environment together to create change that actually lasts. It’s the method of a decluttering expert who stopped believing the clutter was ever the point.
