We’ve overcomplicated decluttering. Sometimes you

We’ve overcomplicated decluttering.
Sometimes you don’t need to work out whether you’ve worn it in the last 12 months, calculate the cost per wear, ask five friends, consult your AI therapist or establish whether it still sparks fucking joy.
Absolutely not. 😵‍💫
Sometimes you look at something and think:
I actually don’t want that.
And that can be the whole decision.
DONE.
Not fretting about the environment, what anyone else will think of you, whether your teenager might one day want the dress, or keeping everything for just in case!
Because learning to trust yourself instead of dithering over something as seemingly insignificant as a jumper is actually pretty useful…
You start making decisions faster.
You stop needing everyone else to validate them. 🤯
And you stop treating your own TRUE, or gut preferences like opening arguments in a court case.
And suddenly you’re not spending 14 minutes every morning fighting your way through a wardrobe full of things you already know you don’t want.
Send this to the woman who needs to stop arguing with her wardrobe.
And if you’re new here, follow me, darling…
I have quite a lot to say about the fact that your clutter is rarely just about your clutter… and yes, I’m tough love so you can actually start changing things 🫶🏼😉

Expectations: unnecessarily high.
Audacity: increasing.
Evidence required in advance: absolutely fucking none.✌🏼
Anyway, let’s see what else the year of the chaotic fire horse has up its sleeves. 🤣
Send this to the person you’ll be expecting unreasonable things with this October. ✨
And follow me if “be realistic” is incredibly boring to you. 😉

September, it’s been… turbulent 🤣
Choosing 20 pics is a tall order.
Some major ups and downs, including losing our puppy dog 🐶😭 a few very big realisations… or just finally getting honest and deciding to stop avoiding certain things.
The universe will keep sending you the same lessons over and over again until you learn them. It will NEVER stop until you do something different.
The “pain” of change can feel hard, but staying stuck is a lot f*cking harder.
Sometimes things that look bad are actually the beginning of something incredible. Sometimes you have to let go of things to clear the way for what you truly want in life. And sometimes you just have to keep the faith even when you want to give up. 🫶🏼
Decide that everything always works out for you, and it will.
I hope you had a fruitful September ✨

…your body isn’t the right size, your clothes aren

…your body isn’t the right size, your clothes aren’t quite right, your life still isn’t where you want it to be and somehow, before 8am, you already feel behind 🤯
And our brains can be vile to us when we give them enough ammunition.
Which is why I also don’t believe in keeping clothes that are too small hanging in prime position as “motivation”.
If every morning they make you feel ashamed of your body, that isn’t motivation. 🤦🏻‍♀️
It’s just another reminder that apparently you’re still not there yet.
And the more shit you feel, the more likely you are to want relief from feeling shit!
Which, if food happens to be one of your relief mechanisms, is mildly counterproductive… because, cake.
I’m not saying you can’t WANT to change your body. I did and have.Massively.
I’m saying your wardrobe should support the woman you are now while you become the woman you want to be.
It shouldn’t punish you every morning for not being her yet.
And frankly, this goes much further than weight.
How many things are hanging in there that you never choose because they make you feel frumpy, uncomfortable or just… not like you anymore?
How many expensive mistakes are you keeping because getting rid of them won’t magically put the money back in your bank account?
How much time do you lose every week getting dressed, changing, getting annoyed, buying something else and STILL feeling like you’ve got nothing to wear?
That’s why I created The Wardrobe Glow-Up Guide.
It’s the exact process I use to properly declutter and organise a wardrobe, including the identity stuff that actually makes letting go easier, and then the practical systems that stop the bloody thing descending back into chaos afterwards.
If yours is stressing you out every single morning, comment GLOW and I’ll send it you the details ✨
And send this to the woman who owns a wardrobe full of clothes and yet still wears the same six things on rotation.

This week we lost Beau, at the grand old age of 15 💔
Her last day was spent frolicking down by the river and in the glorious fields of Oxfordshire. 🌾
After Tom and I separated and sold the house, she moved in with my mum, so she’s not been on here much the last couple of years.
She used to be on the gram most days while I yapped on stories walking her in the fields of Milton 🤣
The kindest, funniest, most patient and gentle doggy. Ottilies bestie from the day she was born. A true “nanny dog” 😇 She helped me through some tough times and I am well and truly devastated.
Rest in peace Lady B, it’s been a blast. We love you so much 🫶🏼✨ 🐶🐾 xxx

The closet is giving… MENTY B 🤯
The funny thing is, none of these were really wardrobe lessons.
They were standards lessons and identity lessons. 👀
Lessons in noticing how often we keep something simply because getting rid of it requires a decision we’ve been avoiding.
And once you see that, decluttering becomes a shit load easier babes.
If you want to know how I actually do the wardrobe edit…
What comes out first.
What I ask myself when I’m stuck.
How I decide what stays.
What gets hung versus folded.
How I organise everything afterwards so it doesn’t look like absolute carnage again three weeks later… and literally SO MUCH MORE, to make your life easier.
That’s an entire process, and I’ve already made it for you 👯‍♀️
Comment GLOW and I’ll send you The Wardrobe Glow-Up Guide ✨

5. THIS is the real secret… they identify as luck

5. THIS is the real secret…
they identify as lucky.
They’re not desperately chasing evidence that they’re lucky.
They already assume they are.
So a coincidence becomes “Of course that happened for me.”
An opportunity becomes “Obviously this showed up.”
Something going wrong becomes “Fine. Something better is coming.”
They don’t need life to prove it first.
They DECIDE who they are, then let life catch up. 😏
If this is the energy you’re taking into the rest of the year, share it with someone who needs the reminder. 🫶🏼
And follow me for more on identity, self-concept and becoming the version of you who expects life to work in her favour.🔥
